Aocs Framework Project
The goal of the AOCS project was to design and prototype a component-based software
framework for a satellite Attitude and Orbit Control System (AOCS). The project was
partially funded under research contract N. 13776/99/NL/MV with the European
Space Agency at ESA-Estec (see the
disclaimer).
It started in Aug. 1999 and was completed in Dec. 2000. The project documentation
and code are publicly available but are subject to changes at any time. A
summary of the project results is given here.The AOCS Framework Project
was done in the Computer
Science Department of the University
of Constance (Germany) by Alessandro
Pasetti with the collaboration of Tim
Brown. This web site is now maintained by the project author as a
member of the Automatic Control Laboratory
in the group of Prof.
Schaufelberger at ETH-Zurich.
