makeSimpleChange

public ChangeObject makeSimpleChange(double referenceValue)

Construct and return a simple change object. This change object triggers a change if its input is difference from the reference value. The reference value is passed as a parameter to the make method.

makeDeltaChange

public ChangeObject makeDeltaChange(double delta)

Construct and return a delta change object. This change object triggers a change if its input changes by more than a pre-defined delta threshold across two consecutive invocations. The delta threshold is passed as a parameter to the make method.

makeOutOfRangeChange

public ChangeObject makeOutOfRangeChange(double lowerBound,
                                         double upperBound)

Construct and return an out-of-range object. This change object triggers a change if its input is outside the range [lowerBound,upperBound]. The lower and upper bounds are passed as method parameters.
