This page describes one of the test cases of the EODiSP. The test case described in this page instantiates a nominal scenario of the use case UC_108.

This test case uses the EarthCARE Simulator as a test platform. The simulator is operated in its default configuration.

Description	Describes the steps to use an existing experiment configuration with another instance of a simulation manager application. The two instances of the simulation manager applications are called SM1 for the source application and SM2 for the target application.
Pre-Condition	(1) Test case TC_104 (Configure EarthCARE Simulation Experiment) has been successfully completed for SM1. (2) Test case TC_102 (Set-up Simulation Manager Application) has been successfully completed for SM2.
Post-Condition	The configuration is ready to be used by another instance of a simulation manager application.

Steps

1. Actor locates the simulation manager project file (smProject.datagraph) in the working directory of the source simulation manager. The file is located in the data directory in the working directory. The working directory itself can be found by using the instructions from the user manual.
2. Actor copies the file to the data directory in the working directory of the target simulation manager. For this, he uses operating system tools (such as the cp command on the Linux console).
3. System automatically uses the configuration stored in the file.
